At Community Living Alternatives, we value the voices of families. To strengthen our programs and ensure we are meeting the needs of the people we support, we are launching a Family Advisory Committee.
Purpose:
The committee provides families with an opportunity to share feedback, ideas, and perspectives that help shape CLA’s Residential and CLASS programs.
How it works:
- One-on-One Conversations: Each interested family member will be invited to a brief (30–40 minute) conversation with CLA staff to share initial thoughts and suggestions.
- Group Meetings: Families will come together as a committee on a regular basis to discuss common themes, explore new ideas, and provide guidance. Meetings may be held quarterly (about 4 times a year) or annually (once a year) depending on family preference.
Time Commitment:
- Initial one-on-one interview: ~40 minutes
- Group meetings: 1–2 hours per session
- Occasional email/phone feedback as needed
Why participate?
Your voice matters. By joining the Family Advisory Committee, you’ll help ensure CLA continues to provide meaningful, person-centered services while strengthening the partnership between families, providers, and the people we serve.
