Ingredients:

  • 6 strips of Bacon
  • 1/4 cup cider Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 9 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 2 peeled large red apples, thin slices
  • 1 medium red onion – chopped

 

Directions (Spinach Salad):

  • Cook the bacon in a sauce pan
  • Combine bacon, vinegar, brown sugar
  • Boil until sugar dissolves.
  • Crumble bacon and return to dressing
  • Combine the apples, spinach, and onion
  • Drizzle with the dressing

 

Ingredients (BLT):

  • Bread – toasted if desired
  • Three strips of bacon
  • Mayonnaise
  • Leaf lettuce
  • Sliced tomato

 

Directions (BLT)

  • Layer bacon, lettuce and tomato on the bread
  • Spread mayonnaise on the bread
