Ingredients:
- 6 strips of Bacon
- 1/4 cup cider Vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 9 cups fresh baby spinach
- 2 peeled large red apples, thin slices
- 1 medium red onion – chopped
Directions (Spinach Salad):
- Cook the bacon in a sauce pan
- Combine bacon, vinegar, brown sugar
- Boil until sugar dissolves.
- Crumble bacon and return to dressing
- Combine the apples, spinach, and onion
- Drizzle with the dressing
Ingredients (BLT):
- Bread – toasted if desired
- Three strips of bacon
- Mayonnaise
- Leaf lettuce
- Sliced tomato
Directions (BLT)
- Layer bacon, lettuce and tomato on the bread
- Spread mayonnaise on the bread
