Billy has been a dedicated member of the Goodwill janitorial crew for over 30 years, demonstrating incredible work ethic and commitment to his job. But his passion for life extends far beyond the workplace—Billy is an avid traveler with the Another World travel program for people with IDD. His adventures have taken him across the globe, from London to Hawaii, and this year, he’s setting off on even more exciting journeys, with trips planned to Iceland, Ireland, Portland, Oregon, and destinations throughout Colorado.
In addition to his travels, Billy is a well-known figure in the community for his active lifestyle and love of sports. This month, he competed in the Special Olympics State Snowshoeing competition at Copper Mountain, showcasing his athletic talent. He also participates in martial arts, acting classes, and cardio exercise sessions. When he’s not staying active, you can find Billy enjoying social events like dances, bingo nights, and live shows around Denver.
